Key Responsibilities

• Lead the system engineering efforts for new aerospace projects, from concept through to operational deployment.
• Define system requirements, architecture, and design for aircraft components and integrated systems.
• Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Develop and execute rigorous test plans to validate system performance and reliability.
• Conduct trade studies and analyses to optimize system design and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, in a remote setting.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of control systems, avionics, and propulsion systems.
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with aviation safety standards and certification processes.
