Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience designing with and analyzing advanced materials.
- Experience with composites, high-performance alloys, advanced polymers, or ceramics.
- Proficiency in CAD software and FEA simulations for material behavior.
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and select advanced materials for product applications.
- Design mechanical components using novel material properties.
- Conduct material characterization, testing, and analysis to validate performance.
- Perform simulations (FEA) to predict material behavior under conditions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop fabrication processes for materials.
