Job Description

The Trade Settlement team is responsible for the accurate and timely confirmation of all international trades to the counterparty alignments and the instruction of settlement to the relevant custodians.

Responsibilities
  • Accountability for the matching and settlement of transactions in all global markets.
  • Manage day-to-day settlement operations for a portfolio of clients, ensuring SLA adherence and managing client expectations.
  • Liaise with clients, custodians, and counterparties to ensure timely completion of trade settlement processes.
  • Investigate and resolve unmatched transactions or failing trades.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal clients regarding trade operations.
  • Support leadership and contribute to process improvements and technology implementations.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements
  • B. Com or similar tertiary qualification in business studies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in asset management portfolio administration.
  • Knowledge of back-office administration processes and trade matching engines, preferably OMGEO.
  • Understanding of custodian and broker operations, portfolio management, and trading lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Structured approach to work, confident, and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
