Requirements :
- Grade 12 plus National Diploma (NQF level 6)/ Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Tourism/ Commerce/ Office administration/ Public administration or relevant qualification as recognised by SAQA. 2 - 3 years administrative experience. A valid driver’s license. COMPETENCES: Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations, Public Service Act and The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Skills: Planning and organizing, Problem solving, Negotiation. Skills: Computer skills, communication skills (verbal and written), organising and administration skills, supervise subordinates, project management skills, planning and organizing, Initiative. Service delivery innovation. Management skills. Report writing. Facilitation skills. Financial skills, supervise subordinates, project management skills.
Duties :
- Monitor and ensure proper administration of financial related support services. Collate and disseminate on a weekly basis expenditure reports, accruals and commitments reports to all the units in the Directorate. Facilitate timeous payments of utility bills from the Reserves to avoid disruptions of services, manage municipality bills. Facilitate timeous payment of photocopier machines for all the units in the Directorate. Monitor the provision of the procurement process of Biodiversity Management and provide related logistics and project support services. Compile the revenue tariffs yearly submission. Supervise resources (Human/ Equipment/ Assets). Management of meetings and events (take minutes, ensure minutes are distributed in good time, and ensure minutes are filed). Administration duties, answer queries, distribute information, and perform other secretarial duties. Contribute to the good management of the directorate. Assist with the uniform distribution process. Coordinate and implement tourism standards and tourism grading.
