Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking an experienced actuary to apply analytics, modelling and risk insight to solve complex financial problems in life insurance and banking products. The role focuses on reserving, pricing, product management, experience monitoring and financial modelling to deliver value to clients and shareholders.

You will work across segments including Insurance & Asset Management, partnering with teams to design, price and manage risk in diverse portfolios, leveraging strong SQL

Qualifications

• First Degree in Actuarial Science.
• Completed all Actuarial Board Exams up to F100s, including F102.
• 5-7 years' experience with SQL, spreadsheets, databases and statistics.
• Experience with financial modelling, risk management and related banking/insurance products.
• Strong actuarial principles in modelling, calculations and methods.

Responsibilities
