About the Role:

Stratlab Consulting is partnering with one of the continent's most established financial services brands to appoint a Senior Actuarial Analyst in their Group Reporting function. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to capital and regulatory reporting at group level, work across multiple business lines and jurisdictions, and contribute to high-impact work that reaches executive leadership. You'll be joining a focused, high-performing actuarial team tasked with delivering complex capital metrics, supporting business decisions, and helping shape the future structure of the group.

Ideal Candidate:
  • BSc in Actuarial Science or related field
  • Progress with actuarial exams or newly qualified
  • 4–6 years' actuarial experience, ideally in financial or capital reporting
  • Strong technical grounding in reserving, surplus analysis, and actuarial controls
  • Experience working within a complex or group environment is beneficial
  • Sharp attention to detail, analytical strength, and strong communication skills
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and a desire to grow
Responsibilities:
  1. Preparing and reviewing capital reporting for regulatory submissions and external publication
  2. Running capital projections and scenario testing for business planning and risk assessment
  3. Supporting strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, disposals, and group structural changes
  4. Advising on the capital impact of product development and balance sheet adjustments
  5. Driving process improvements and enhancing the tools behind key actuarial reporting functions
  6. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across finance, risk, and product
