Are you a detail-obsessed number cruncher with a flair for process improvement and financial accuracy? Our client, in the luxury travel and tourism sector, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the accounting process across multiple functions, ensure compliance with IFRS standards, support internal teams with financial insights, and help drive efficiency across creditors, debtors, and treasury functions.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure accurate, timely reporting across all financial operations

• Oversee and drive month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries

• Support internal teams with reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis

• Manage VAT, audit preparation, and financial compliance

• Take the lead on creditors, debtors, and cashbook functions

• Optimise processes and suggest improvements to streamline the finance function

• Collaborate closely with operational teams to flag issues and drive solutions

What You’ll Need:

• A degree in Accounting/Finance or similar

• 3–5+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role

• Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector is a plus

• Excellent understanding of IFRS, VAT, and audit prep

• Strong analytical, Excel, and reporting skills

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and drive outcomes

• A proactive mindset and a passion for process improvement
