Job Description

Our client, a global logistics entity, is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant with room for growth within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts receivable, including preparing and distributing client invoices, updating statements of accounts, and following up on outstanding payments.
• Posting client and supplier invoices.
• Performing bank reconciliations by posting bank statements.
• Verifying the correctness of vendor invoices through established reconciliation processes.
• Reconciling and posting senior management expenses.
• Assisting with month-end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Conducting financial analysis of various projects or initiatives.
• Contributing to the improvement of existing accounting processes.
• Building cross-functional relationships within the company.

Requirements:

• Finance degree with articles completed.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with XERO and QBO software is advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A practical and logical approach to resolving business problems.
• Professional, proactive, and eager to learn.
