Atlas Finance is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting in Gauteng. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. You will maintain the general ledger, assist with monthly statements, and support audits.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel. A relevant degree and SA regulatory knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in accounting or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and transactions.
• Familiarity with SA regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and process invoices with timely, accurate billing.
• Maintain general ledger with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly financial reports including income statements and balance sheets.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions including payments and collections.
• Prepare and file local tax returns as required.
• Assist in annual audit with required financial documentation.
• Collaborate to improve accounting processes and systems.
