Qualifications

• BCOM Non-Negotiable, Hons/Postgraduate Diploma preferred.
• SAICA/SAIPA Accreditation desired.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Perform full accounting functions for three Property Companies and one FMCG business.
• Prepare and submit tax and annual financial statements.
• Oversee and manage a Bookkeeper and two Rebates Clerks.

Job description

Our Client is a Retail Group based in the South of Johannesburg. They require an experienced and detail orientated Senior Accountant to join their team.
In this role you will do the full Accounting function for three Property Companies and One FMCG business. You will have a Bookkeeper and Two Rebates Clerks reporting into you as well. You will be required to prepare and submit the Tax for your entities as well as the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements for all four entities. Experience working on SAP and Caseware is non-negotiable and Experience in an FMCG or Retail Environment would be favourable. If you are individual who is proactive, innovative and would like to grow within the Group long-term then this is the role for you!

• BCOM Non-Negotiable, Hons/ Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting preferred
• SAICA/ SAIPA Accreditation preferred
• At least 4 - 6 Years Accounting Experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience working on SAP and Drafting AFS on CaseWare is non-negotiable
