Responsibilities
Finance
  • Manage the property management financial department at head office in the absence of the financial accountant.
  • Support and assist employees in the finance department.
  • Maintain and improve work standards.
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers and other departments.
  • Assist the financial accountant with audits, reporting, and compliance tasks.
  • Prepare month-end reports, reconciliations, journals, and reallocations.
  • Handle year-end procedures and liaise with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, CIPC, and statutory requirements.
Reconciliations
  • Perform supplier, investment, and control account reconciliations monthly.
  • Address discrepancies between cashbook and trial balance.
Banking
  • Import and allocate bank transactions daily.
  • Ensure daily balances are correct and bank statements are saved securely.
Creditors & Debtors
  • Assist with creditor and debtor account management, including reconciliations and payments.
  • Support debit order processes in the absence of the debit order controller.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in property or finance sectors.
  • Experience with bookkeeping, debtors, and creditors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Requirements
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Excellent customer service, client relationship management, and organizational skills.
  • Patience and attention to detail.
