Job summary

A leading HR consulting firm in South Africa seeks an Accountant to manage financial processes while ensuring accuracy and integrity of records. The role includes daily financial processing, reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, advanced Excel knowledge, and over 5 years of accountant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This full-time position is based in Stutterheim, Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as an Accountant.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly financial processing.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Calculate VAT payable/refundable and submit returns.
• Review debtors and creditors reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc management accounts.
