Job summary

TydeCo is seeking a Senior Accountant - independent contractor - to serve as a strategic advisor within our CAAS team. You will lead complex financial close, optimize processes, and guide client engagements across global teams using Sage Intacct and FloQast.

This role emphasizes mentorship, cross‑functional collaboration, and delivering data‑driven insights to clients, with remote work across the U.S. and a focus on best accounting practices and system implementations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in outsourced accounting or advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Proven experience leading financial close and client advisory projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage client engagements and provide strategic financial insights.
• Lead Sage Intacct implementations and onboarding for clients.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and review work for accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across time zones to support client success.
