Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in a Senior Accounting or equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting standards.
• Experience dealing with SARS and familiarity with Tax and VAT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain key financial controls and processes.
• Oversee the month-end close process.
• Manage and guide the finance team for timely task completion.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Review management accounts and prepare reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries.
• Handle inquiries related to Tax and VAT with SARS.
• Collaborate with other divisions to achieve business objectives.
• Manage cashbook and fixed asset register.
