Job summary

Communicate Recruitment is seeking a CA(SA) with 5+ years' experience in a senior finance role to join a Cape Town-based group. You will lead financial reporting, consolidations, and presentations to Exco and the holding company.

You will oversee budgeting, working capital, and controls, with a focus on accuracy and leadership. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar financial role.
• Strong financial reporting and consolidation experience.
• Experience preparing management packs and executive-level presentations.
• Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems experience (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Report to the holding company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Compile divisional management packs and subsidiary reporting packs.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to Exco and Group stakeholders.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Working capital analysis, cash flow management, and reporting.
• Oversee procurement and capital expenditure processes.
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• BBBEE reporting and Statistics SA return submissions.
• Reporting on operational statistics and key performance indicators.
• Providing support to the Financial Manager and Financial Director.
