Job description

• Conduct financial analysis and identify discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies in financial data.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cashflow statements.
• Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends to support business decisions.
• Interpret data to identify areas of current or potential risk.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Utilise financial software and Excel to perform advanced data analysis.
• Provide support for external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Requirements :

• BCom Accounting Honours, or similar qualification preferred.
• Registered CA (SA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role with a strong focus on data analysis.
• Skills and experience in company operations is beneficial.
• Experience working with financial reporting and data accuracy.
• Exposure to financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
