Job summary

Recruitpro Solutions in Centurion, South Africa, is seeking a senior finance professional to own a full finance function, including month-end close and reporting to board level. You will manage balance sheet reconciliations, payroll data verification, and deliver management accounts and dashboards.

The role also covers debtors/creditors processing, audit readiness, and consolidation of Mauritius and China entities as the business grows.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with 3+ years post-articles experience in an operational finance role; OR a qualified accountant with 10+ years' hands-on experience, completed articles, BCom Accounting and SAICA membership (e.g. AGA(SA))
• Proven, hands-on ownership of a full finance function
• Strong, disciplined reconciliation background — full balance sheet recs to source, not just bank
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, plus multi-entity/consolidation exposure
• Working knowledge of SA statutory compliance (Companies Act, CIPC, income tax, VAT)
• Hands-on ERP experience (SYSPRO or similar) and advanced Excel, including formula-based reconciliation
• Practical experience with AI-enabled accounting/reporting tools, and appetite to keep adopting new technology
• A track record of fixing broken processes, with a concrete example to share

Responsibilities

• Managing month-end and year-end close, owning the full balance sheet reconciliation process, reviewing payroll data for accuracy before sign-off, and producing management accounts, dashboards and board-level reporting packs.
• You'll also oversee debtors/creditors processing performed by others, support audit readiness, and — as the business grows internationally — review and consolidate results from newly established Mauritius and China entities.
