Every number tells a story at TLC Worldwide and as Senior Accountant, you’ll help shape the narrative. Reporting to the Finance Director in Johannesburg, you’ll dive into forecasting, budget creation, and supplier management, while partnering with HR and Operations to sharpen financial outcomes.

This hands-on role goes beyond the numbers. You'll lead audits, refine reporting, and build models that turn complexity into clarity. With a focus on cost drivers and procurement efficiency, you’ll challenge the norm and deliver smarter decisions that drive growth.

What you'll be doing:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly cash flow projections
  • Analyse performance, identify cost drivers, and recommend cost-saving strategies
  • Provide financial guidance for key business decisions and projects

2. S&OP & Cash Management

  • Align with Sales & Operations Planning to enhance forecasting and cost visibility
  • Manage client invoicing and ensure timely revenue recognition
  • Monitor cash flow and coordinate supplier payments in line with business priorities

3. Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Enhance procurement, payment, and reporting processes for efficiency
  • Implement business-aligned reporting frameworks
  • Deliver structured analysis for stakeholder reviews

4. Month-End Close & Reporting

  • Lead the month-end close process with accurate journals and adjustments
  • Review key balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure integrity and completeness of financial reporting

5. Compliance, Audit & Tax

  • Uphold internal controls and financial policies
  • Prepare audit schedules and support audit processes
  • Manage VAT, tax returns, and statutory filings

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar accounting role
  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA) or equivalent, with a commitment to qualification completion
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Nav or Dynamics 365 (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
  • Experience in public practice or SME environments, ideally within marketing, advertising, or PR
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and influence financial outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-changing environment
