Job summary

Enslins is seeking a qualified CA(SA) or experienced accountant to lead tax compliance, accounting services, and strategic financial guidance for client portfolios.

The role is office-based with standard hours, offering market-related remuneration and the opportunity to guide a growing accounting team at Polo Family Offices, Val de Vie Estate.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a CA(SA) or have extensive senior accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles.
• Solid understanding of South African tax law and regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance & planning for corporate, individual and VAT returns.
• Manage accounting services and ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance for SMEs.
• Provide strategic financial advice, budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Lead and coordinate the accounting team to meet deadlines.

What you'll do

You’ll provide clear information on our clients’ performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows, and help them make better decisions with it.

Tax compliance & planning

Prepare and file corporate, individual and VAT returns. reconcile and submit all tax types to SARS. and advise clients on tax planning and legislative changes.

Accounting services

Oversee financial and management statements in line with IFRS tor SMEs. and GAAP. maintain and reconcile general ledgers, and review clients’ records and controls.

Give strategic financial advice, help clients with budgets, forecasts and business plans, and build lasting client relationships.

Team leadership

Manage colleagues, workloads and deadlines, and guide accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering their questions.

Skills & requirements

OUALIFICATIONS

• CA(SA) with proven experience in a small or medium firm, or at least 5 years in the field
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles
• Thorough knowledge of South African tax law
• Market-related remuneration in line with your qualifications and experience
