Placements24 is seeking a Senior Accountant in Kimberley to manage financial operations, prepare IFRS-based statements, and oversee general ledger, AR/AP, budgets, and variance analysis. You will provide insights for planning and support strategic decision-making within the Northern Cape region.

The ideal candidate brings a CA(SA) or ACCA desirability, 4+ years of accounting experience, and strong IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CA(SA) or ACCA qualification desirable.
• Minimum of 4 years progressive accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
