As Senior Accountant , you'll be the right hand to the CFO and a key player in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and innovation in finance processes.

Your role will go beyond the basics – you'll play a part in shaping how finance adds value across the business.

Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Accountant in Johannesburg, South Africa will include :

Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports – including balance sheets, P&L, consolidations, and management accounts.Performing monthly reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in GL maintenance.Assisting with payroll processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.Managing SARS submissions and registrations – including VAT, PAYE, UIF, and provisional tax.Supporting audit readiness and coordinating audit preparation.Driving finance control projects, helping to enhance internal controls, financial systems, and processes.Keeping up to date with the latest financial legislation and regulatory requirements.Preparing timely and insightful reports for management and board-level reviewJumping in on other finance-related tasks as needed — flexibility and initiative are key!
