Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial statements: This includes balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Analyze financial data: Identify trends, variances, and potential issues to inform decision-making.
3. Prepare and review financial reports: Ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified individuals (CA(SA) or SAIPA accredited).
2. Relevant financial qualification.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles.
4. Computer literacy and data entry skills.
5. Spreadsheet experience (good knowledge of Excel/formulae, etc.).
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Analytical skills.
8. 5+ years’ experience.
9. Caseware experience required.
10. Public sector experience required.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant that will be able to travel to clients.
