The Role & Key Responsibilities: Due to continued expansion, Apex Group's finance department is seeking to recruit an Accountant to join the team.

The Accountant will be responsible for multiple entities within the group and will report to the Finance Manager.

• Assist with the preparation, review, and reconciliation of monthly accruals and prepayments
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in the monthly payroll process
• Issue client invoices and maintain aged receivables
• Reconcile revenue and prepare related reports
• Prepare cash flow statements and analysis
• Assist with periodic VAT returns
• Support month-end closing and prepare management accounts
• Analyze variances and support financial reporting
• Assist with regulatory reporting and audits
• Perform ad-hoc financial tasks as required

Skills Required:

• University degree in Accountancy or equivalent / Final stages of ACCA
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficiency in Excel, IT, and accounting software
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in audit is a plus but not mandatory
