Our client, a leader in the Paint Manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join their team based in Cape Town.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• CA (or equivalent)

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Management Accounts
   • Review Management Accounts including supporting Schedules
   • Review Balance Sheet Items and Reconciliations
2. Fixed Asset Register
   • Review Fixed Asset Registers
3. Audit File Preparation
   • Review prepared Audit files
4. Budgeting
   • Review prepared Budgets for all entities in the Group
5. Statutory SARS Submissions
   • Review of VAT201, EMP201, SARS enquiries
6. Provisional Tax Calculations
   • Prepare Provisional Tax Calculations for all Companies in the Group
7. Employment Equity / Social and Ethics – Companies Act Requirements
   • Prepare EE Plans, review previous plans and reports
   • Arrange and lead EE Committee Meetings
   • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act regarding Social and Ethics requirements
8. Rebates and Advertising
   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Rebate and Advertising calculations
9. Data Analysis
   • Update Sales Reports and manage Sales Report Server (DevExpress)
   • Analyze Data (including Cost Analysis of material expenses)
   • Extract data from SQL Database, analyze, and report to the Financial Director

     Extraction can be done using Excel, Power BI, or both.

10. Operations
    • Work closely with the Financial Director regarding daily operations and requirements
