Job description

The key function of the role is to provide leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to a team of senior account managers to drive sales revenue and margin goal attainment across both Private and Public Sector. The role will also be responsible for setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing the market for relevant opportunities, business development, assigning sales territories, and building a high-performance sales team and culture. The execution will be conducted within defined vertical segments through clear and consistent account management strategies to focus engagement and achieve organizational goals.

As a senior sales leader, the role requires engaging customers at senior and executive levels to align their business priorities with Nexio’s value proposition. Building strategic partnerships and OEM collaborations to drive joint market engagement is crucial. The person will work closely with the Managing Executive – Sales & Marketing to ensure overall segment sales performance, profitability, and alignment with business strategy.

ROLE PURPOSE
  • The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will facilitate growth in revenue and gross profit by developing new business and managing customer engagements across all levels within the customer landscape.
  • SAM should possess market knowledge from macro and micro perspectives to make informed decisions and provide tailored guidance to customers.
  • Understanding industry verticals and strategies to offer effective, industry-specific solutions is essential.
  • SAM will collaborate with internal teams to identify solutions and ensure open communication and teamwork.
  • Engaging customers with Nexio’s strategies and commitment to service excellence is key.
  • SAM engages with C-level executives, understanding their organization thoroughly to support timely and efficient solutions and services.
  • The ability to prospect large enterprises and manage multiple accounts effectively is required.
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience and acting as the customer lead for solutions and services are vital.
  • Managing stakeholders and outcomes effectively is essential for success.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
