Overview
The Account Director will be responsible for:
- Driving client partnership with strategic influence and intent, serving as the focal point for day-to-day client interaction, digital campaign planning, and service delivery.
- Managing digital and social campaigns across a portfolio of brands daily.
Experience
Experience in through-the-line campaigns is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Act as agency lead across a portfolio of brands, partnering with clients and their media agencies.
- Manage client expectations and service delivery, maintaining a focal point for daily interactions.
- Handle multiple stakeholders seamlessly, ensuring delivery according to brief, strategy, and high standards.
- Be responsive and accessible, fostering trust through honest conversations and proactive updates.
- Develop excellent relationships with clients, assisting in delivering requirements on time and managing personalities effectively.
- Deep understanding of client, agency, strategy, and process to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date status reports, agendas, contact reports, and timing plans for all jobs and campaigns.
- Collaborate with teams across Traffic, Strategy, Content Marketing, Creative, Production, Development, etc., to deliver high-quality work.
- Manage deadlines, stakeholders, and job scope effectively, ensuring all work aligns with client requirements and brand standards.
- Write clear briefs, consider impacts of changes, and maintain creative integrity throughout campaigns.
- Communicate professionally and develop excellent self-management skills.
- Understand scope boundaries for accurate costing and ensure timely billing and approval processes.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to add value.
- Manage upward communication with senior management and support team collaboration.
- Be prepared to work long hours as needed and participate actively in agency culture.
- Translate client needs into clear briefs and deliver digital and social campaigns end-to-end.
- Develop project plans, interpret campaign performance for optimization, and execute integrated campaigns across ATL, Digital, and BTL.
- Manage budgets and understand all elements of the client's business, including BTL, ATL, Social, and digital.
- Track finances weekly, ensuring cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Account Management experience, including 2 years at Senior Account Director level.
- Marketing and/or Advertising tertiary qualification, with digital certification.
- Experience in digital agency environments is essential.
- Experience with large multinational brands or automotive sector is advantageous.
