Location: East London
Job Type: Full-Time (5 days a week), Long Term

About Us:
Remedy is a trusted education recruitment agency working with schools across London. We are currently looking for an experienced and driven SENCO for a long-term role in a supportive East London school.

Job Overview:
The school is seeking a qualified SENCO to lead and manage the SEN provision across the school. The SENCO will be responsible for coordinating support for students with additional needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies. The ideal SENCO will hold the National SENCO Award or be working towards it.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the identification and support of pupils with SEN.

Work alongside teachers to implement effective strategies.

Maintain SEN documentation and communicate with families.

Liaise with external professionals to support student needs.

Lead a team of SEN Teaching Assistants under the SENCO role.

Requirements:

National SENCO Award (or working towards it).

QTS and experience supporting students with SEN.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
