Job summary

Remedy Education in East London is building a reliable pool of SEN Supply Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day cover in a secondary specialist setting.

Ideal candidates will have SEN experience, be able to handle challenging behaviour calmly, communicate well in English, and be reliable and flexible to work at least 3 days a week.

CVs are not required for day-to-day cover, making this a great entry into regular supply work with flexible, day-to-day shifts.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
• Be confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent and professional manner.
• Have strong communication skills and be confident communicating in English.
• Be reliable, flexible and comfortable adapting to pupils' individual needs.
• Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

Remedy Education is looking to build a reliable pool of 1-2 experienced SEN Supply Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day cover in a secondary specialist setting.

This is a great opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and support workers who are confident supporting secondary-aged pupils with additional needs and managing challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidates will:

• Have previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
• Be confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent and professional manner.
• Have strong communication skills and be confident communicating in English.
• Be reliable, flexible and comfortable adapting to pupils' individual needs.
• Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Experienced support workers with relevant SEN experience are also encouraged to apply.
