Semi - Senior

Join our client, one of the top firms in the US. Our client is seeking a dynamic and newly qualified Auditor to become part of their team in South Africa. Our client has been providing first-rate tax, accounting, and financial / advisory services for businesses, families, and individuals.

• Contract Period : 12 months annual renewable contract.
• Location : Hybrid – Johannesburg or Cape Town Office.
• Working Hours : Structured to fit lifestyle with a 4-5 hour working overlap with the US start from (14 : 00pm - 19 : 00pm SA Time), with the flexibility to complete the rest of the working day as best suited for the individual.

Your Role as an Audit Senior :

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and review accurate financial statements.
• Audit and Assurance : Assist with audit planning, execution, and reporting.
• Tax Compliance : Prepare and file tax returns, and support tax planning.
• Internal Controls : Evaluate and test controls, and recommend improvements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Help prepare budgets and analyze financial forecasts.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to laws and regulatory requirements.
• Professional Development : Stay updated with industry trends and pursue further training.
• Team Collaboration : Work effectively with team members and contribute positively.
• Technology Proficiency : Use relevant software and data analytics tools.
• Ethical Conduct : Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements :

• 3-year completed articles experience, ideally within the Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturing, and Distribution industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Proficient in using audit software.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs (International Financial Reporting Standards).
