Job Opening: Skilled Carpenter – Children’s Furniture

Location: Durbanville Fisantekraal business Park.

Full-Time | Immediate Start Preferred

Are you a talented carpenter with a passion for quality craftsmanship and creative design? We’re looking for a Skilled Carpenter to join our team, crafting beautiful, functional, and safe furniture for children and families.

We’re a growing kids' furniture business dedicated to producing handcrafted pieces.

Your Role:

Build custom children’s furniture including beds, storage boxes and chest of drawers.

Work from detailed drawings and collaborate on custom designs

Ensure all products meet high standards for safety, durability, and finish each product.

Operate woodworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organized, and positive workshop environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of carpentry or cabinet-making experience (preferably in furniture)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision and quality

Passion for creating products that are both functional and beautiful

Confidence in working with Pine wood and dowels.

Understanding of child safety standards in furniture design

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage projects from start to finish.

Current driver’s license and own transport

Nice to Have:

Experience in Spray painting or finishing skills Vital.
