Job summary

Redherd.Io, a technology services organisation, seeks a Security Technical Lead to shape the technical direction of its cybersecurity practice across CPT, JHB, DBN and PE. The role blends executive client advisory, security architecture, governance and business enablement to drive strategic security solutions.

As a senior leader, you will guide technology strategy, oversee complex architectures, mentor engineers and collaborate with sales, consulting and delivery teams to grow the practice's

Qualifications

• Senior technical leadership within cybersecurity consulting, technology services or enterprise security environments.
• Experience advising executive stakeholders and translating security challenges into business priorities.
• Strong security architecture capability and governance of complex solution designs.

Responsibilities

• Executive Client Advisory: build trusted relationships with senior leaders across strategic accounts; lead executive discussions on cyber resilience, AI security, cloud security and risk management.
• Technical Strategy & Innovation: develop the cybersecurity practice's technical vision and roadmap; align priorities with market needs and business objectives.
• Technical Governance: establish standards and architecture principles; provide oversight of complex solution designs; act as senior escalation point.
• Strategic Vendor Partnerships: build relationships with cybersecurity vendors; participate in advisory boards and planning forums.
• Business Development & Sales Enablement: support strategic opportunities; contribute to proposals and solution presentations; translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Thought Leadership & Capability Development: develop cybersecurity insights; represent the organisation at events; mentor engineers and architects.
