Job summary

West Coast Personnel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician for the Hout Bay area. You will install, service and maintain alarm and CCTV systems, ensuring reliable operation and high-quality customer support.

Required are hands-on experience with alarms and CCTV, strong fault-finding skills, and a valid driver’s licence with own vehicle. PSIRA registration is preferred. Residency in Hout Bay or surrounding area is desirable.

An established security services business is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Security Systems Technician to join its team in Hout Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining alarm and CCTV systems while providing professional, reliable service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and test alarm and CCTV systems.
• Service and maintain existing security systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and system testing.
• Ensure all equipment operates reliably and according to the required standards.
• Complete installation, maintenance and service reports accurately.
• Explain system operation and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers.
• Deliver professional and customer-focused service.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company resources responsibly.
• Adhere to safety procedures and security industry standards.

Requirements:
