Qualifications
Required / minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years people management experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree in relevant fields AND 12+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- 13+ years services sales or account management experience.
- 10+ years senior technical sales leadership in cloud services growth and consumption.
- 10+ years people management experience, including managing high-performance sales and technical teams, coaching solution specialists, and leadership in large organizations.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Oversees and aligns teams with strategic vision and customer success objectives, ensuring adherence to sales frameworks. Leads initiatives that foster innovation and agility through AI and cloud adoption, integrating security principles to uphold trust and compliance. Drives innovation and strategic problem-solving to establish a competitive edge.
- Develops and empowers teams to lead AI and cloud-driven transformation initiatives, ensuring wins that demonstrate the impact of cutting-edge technologies. Articulates Microsoft's offerings to differentiate from competitors, leveraging unique selling propositions to create competitive advantage. Fosters innovation and aligns solutions with customer priorities and market trends.
- Guides teams to proactively address market threats, using AI-driven market intelligence tools for strategic decisions. Crafts tailored business solutions, builds and executes strategic sales plans, and nurtures diverse talent to anticipate market needs and maximize market capture.
Customer Engagement and Partnership
- Acts as a customer and partner advocate, providing feedback to shape strategy and improve market capture. Champions customer success, promotes early partner involvement, and provides insights to enhance go-to-market strategies. Coaches teams to align sales plays with market needs.
- Identifies and aligns solutions with customer and partner needs, serving as a trusted advisor. Leads high-level customer conversations to foster long-term relationships and ensures access to support resources to accelerate value realization.
Sales Operations and Pipeline Management
- Ensures accurate forecasting through pipeline management, reviews pipeline progress, and addresses stalled deals. Implements sales strategies to maximize ROI, leveraging technology and AI-powered analytics. Develops teams to drive revenue and business expansion, translating corporate strategies into local actions.
- Promotes cross-organizational collaboration and simplifies complex strategies for effective execution. Leads development plans to enhance sales capabilities across teams.
