Job summary

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking an experienced Estate Security Manager to oversee client relations, risk assessments, and disciplined security operations on site. The role emphasizes rosters, incident investigations, and ensuring contractual compliance across its estate assets.

Candidates should have extensive security management experience (5–15 years), PSIRA Grade A+, CCTV expertise, firearm competency, and strong reporting and communication skills. Own transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• PSIRA certification – Grade A+.
• Technical background on CCTV and Camera monitoring.
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• 5–15 years Estate Security management experience.
• SAPS / SADF services will count in your advantage.
• Firearm competency – business standard.
• Experience in compiling and managing rosters.
• Report-writing skills.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• A working knowledge of MS Office.
• The ability to communicate and present at all levels.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
• Own transport

Responsibilities

• Reporting to client.
• Threats and Risk assessment.
• Client liaison and professional client relationship.
• Manpower Management.
• Equipment Management.
• Effectively dealing with and manage client complaints.
• Ensure that contractual requirements are met at all times.
• Incident and investigation management.
• Ensure compliance to the company’s disciplinary code.
• Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings.
• Health & Safety Management.
• Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved;
• Ensure that all company SOP’S are followed;
• Ensure training takes place as and when required;
• After hour visits.
