Job summary

Parvana is seeking a Security Operations Engineer in Cape Town to manage daily security operations, handle tickets, monitor tools, investigate incidents and lead major incident response in a hybrid/remote setup.

You will configure core security tools (EDR, SWG, UEBA, PAM, SSO) and contribute to vulnerability management, threat research, and staff awareness. A 5+ year background in security ops and Azure/M365 expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Security Operations or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with incident response planning and execution.
• Expertise across security monitoring, detection, prevention and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations, ticket handling and incident response.
• Configure and operate core security tools and vulnerability management.
• Provide security input for projects and document runbooks.
