Job description

Job Title: Security Operational Officer

Hire Resolves Leading Mining Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operational Officer to join their mine in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will oversee security operations at the mining site, ensuring the safety and security of all employees and assets.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee allocated areas to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure all security officers meet the necessary tactical standards on site.
• Plan, manage, and execute high-risk security operations effectively.
• Regularly assess service levels and recommend improvements as needed.
• Supervise security staff, handle administration, and liaise with management and relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree / Diploma in Policing, Security, or Business Management
• Specialized training in policing, security, or military environment (advantageous)
• PSIRA Grade A registration
• 5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military environments
• 5 years of experience in planning, managing, and executing security or law enforcement operations
• Experience in mining operations from a security perspective (advantageous)
