Job summary

SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd, based at the Gauteng Knights site, is seeking a Security Officer to assist the Security team. The role reports to the Security Manager and involves maintaining access control, conducting searches, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• PSIRA registration (Grade C) required.
• 2–3 years of security-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Control access and egress at SA Metal properties by completing registers and operating gates.
• Search pedestrians, vehicles and belongings exiting premises.
• Ensure PPE is issued and returned for visitors entering yards.
