Job summary

EdUpStairs is seeking a vigilant security officer to guard the Labour Centre and Provincial Office in Durban. You will control access, protect assets, perform regular patrols, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe environment for staff and clients.

Requirements include Grade 12, Grade C PSIRA certification, 12 months security experience, and knowledge of related acts and procedures. Strong communication, problem solving, and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate

Responsibilities

• Control access in and out of the Labour Centre and Provincial Office
• Secure the flow of information and assets within the Labour Centre and Provincial Office
• Conduct security patrols of the building and offices to ensure staff and client safety
• Conduct internal investigations and enforce security rules and regulations
