Job Description

The Security Leader is responsible for delivering internal security services and overseeing outsourced security companies to ensure external security aligns with Hyde / Accor standards. The role focuses on protecting people, property, and assets at the hotel.

This position involves proactively creating a safe environment that prioritizes the safety, security, protection, and well-being of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, tenants, and investors. The Security Leader collaborates closely with hotel management to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing Security
• Minimum 5 years in Facility / Workplace security
• Diploma / Certification in Security, Law Enforcement, or related fields
• Advantageous certifications: NOSA / SAMTRAC / NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid
• Knowledge of South African legislation related to criminal law, security, occupational health & safety, fire safety, and event management
• Strong leadership and communication skills in English
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment and handle multiple demands
• Flexible, proactive, and forward-thinking approach
