Job Description: To deliver the hotel's internal security services and oversee outsourced security companies to ensure external security aligns with Hyde / Accor standards. This Security Leader will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets at the hotel.

This role involves proactively creating and maintaining a safe environment that prioritizes the safety, security, protection, and well-being of all stakeholders, including employees, guests, tenants, and investors.

The Security Leader works closely with hotel management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in managing security, with at least 5 years in facility/workplace security
• Diploma or certification in security programs or law enforcement
• Advantageous certifications: NOSA / SAMTRAC / NEBOSH occupational health & safety, fire safety, first aid
• Knowledge of South African legislation related to criminal law, security, occupational health & safety, fire safety, and event management
• Strong leadership and communication skills in English
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment and handle multiple demands
• Flexible, proactive, and forward-thinking approach
