Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a vigilant security professional to maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors at our premises in Gqeberha. The role requires PSIRA registration, reliable performance, and the ability to respond quickly to incidents.

The successful candidate will monitor access, patrol both the yard and buildings, and assist with opening/closing procedures while ensuring compliance with security policies and assisting during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid PSIRA registration (Grade C, D, E or higher).
• Previous security experience is advantageous.
• Good command of English and clear communication.
• Physically fit to stand and patrol for long periods.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the premises and verify all visitors.
• Monitor entry and exit points.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises/ yard.
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security risks.
• Report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities promptly.
• Complete daily occurrence books and incident reports.
• Assist with opening and closing the premises.
• Ensure compliance with company security procedures and policies.
• Assist during emergency situations and evacuations.
