Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises regularly to maintain safety and security.
• Control access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Report suspicious activities, hazards, and maintenance issues.
• Check and monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Complete daily security logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role (preferred).
• Registered/Certified Security Officer (PSIRA registration or equivalent, if applicable).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and act quickly in emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and equipment (e.g., CCTV, alarms, radios).
• Physically fit and able to stand/walk for long periods.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
