The main purpose of the job is to prevent theft wherever possible; prevent losses from badly and incorrectly loaded vehicles; minimise shrinkage; ensure that the premises is secure.

Job Description:

• Checking all goods leaving the premises (shop/yard)
• Checking all sales and returns against supporting documentation
• Ensuring credit customers sign (PODs) proof of delivery notes
• Ensuring cash customers have paid for the goods
• Reporting any suspicious behaviour to management immediately
• Arriving on time at the post and adhering to company policies and procedures
• Completing vehicle checks before it enters the premises to verify contents
• Managing boom movement
• Completing the visitors book daily and accurately
• Upholding and promoting the company values and culture

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12
• At least 1 year's relevant experience in hardware
