Security Auditor, ISMS – South Africa

Location: South Africa

Job Description:

BMM is open to any applicant to apply for this position who meets the criteria in this job specification.

BMM Testlabs seeks dynamic, meticulous, hardworking Systems Consultants / Test Engineers with a strong technical acumen to join our innovative Testing Laboratory environment located in Kyalami Business Park, Midrand, South Africa.

These are tests and examinations of gambling hardware and software in accordance with the relevant gambling technical standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive audits of client's security systems and procedures both in a remote and onsite fashion.
2. Ensure compliance of client's policies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Mentor and coach junior team members.
4. Collaborate with your peers on all technical aspects of the information security management system and the continuous improvement of audit methodology and toolset.
5. Ensure that all tests on the project are carried out.
6. Document all test results, managing all incidents that are raised on the project.
7. Complete projects to agreed deadlines.
8. Ensure accuracy of reports, recommendation letters, and status reports.
9. Adhere to BMM's Project Management procedures and Quality Management System.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Degree, or equivalent Diploma, ISTQB Qualification.
2. Preferable Programming languages: C, C++, .Net, JAVA, Linux, SQL.
3. Required: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Lead Auditor ISO or other relevant certifications.
4. 2+ years of experience in audit activities or ISO field.
5. Strong set of soft and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong ability in the interpretation of technical requirements and applied testing, strong leadership, and the ability to work well under pressure.
7. Critical attention to detail, a self-starter, deadline-driven, clear communicator.
8. Previous experience in the gambling industry is advantageous.

Specific Requirements:

1. Possess a valid driver's license and valid passport and be willing to travel as and when required.
2. Be able to work extended hours where agreed with the company.
3. Successful applicants must pass our local regulatory licensing requirements.
