Job Description

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring adherence to site-specific and overall Valterra Platinum standards.
• Multi-disciplinary team management.
• Strategic Asset management including planned maintenance and common reliability practices.
• Safety Management.
• Labour structure and training management.
• Effective Budgeting Controls (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Management of Major shutdowns.
• Oversee projects (within limit of authority).
• Ensuring adherence to Legal compliance.
• Manage rotables and spares.
• Carry out 1st ,2nd and 3rd line maintenance on HME.

This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Resident Engineer

Qualifications

• Engineering related degree or Diploma
• Government Certificate of competency in Mines and Works

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Five years post Engineering qualification experience
• Trackless Mobile machinery (HME) experience will be advantageous
• Proficient in computer literacy – Microsoft office
• Proficiency in English
