The ideal candidate will facilitate and promote agile methodology within the organization, ensuring that the team achieves its goals efficiently and successfully.

Summary of key job outputs / Key performance areas (KPA's) : Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding and coaching the team in Agile principles and practices.Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Work closely with product owners, Software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals, priorities, and requirements.Remove any obstacles or impediments that may impact the team's ability to deliver quality software within the agreed timelines.Promote and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.Utilize Jira and Confluence to track and manage project progress, backlog, and team metrics.Ensure the team follows engineering best practices and effective release processes.Mentor team members on Agile principles, practices, and techniques, promoting their professional growth and development.Work with Product Owner in developing and managing the product backlog.Experience we're looking for : Relevant tertiary Qualification (BCOM or equivalent).Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fully Agile and DevOps environment as a Scrum Master or Agile Facilitator.Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a waterfall / PMBOK project delivery environment.Strong knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for scrum, project management, and collaboration.Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications are an advantage.PMP / CAPM certifications are an advantage.
