Job Duties :

1. Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum principles.
3. Remove impediments to the team's progress and ensure the team is working efficiently.
4. Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure timely delivery of features.
5. Track and communicate team progress and metrics to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Scrum Master role.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Proficient in Jira or other Agile project management tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional).
• Experience in the insurance or banking industry.
• Experience with DevOps practices.

Working Conditions : This role is based in Johannesburg and may require occasional travel within Gauteng.
