Job summary

A digital transformation leader is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a 3-month contract in Gauteng, South Africa. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Agile roles and is adept at facilitating ceremonies and coaching teams. This position is focused on driving collaboration and removing project blockers while supporting the Product Owner. Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence will be utilized effectively in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
• Remove blockers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join one of our clients for a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate is someone who can quickly integrate with existing teams, drive Agile delivery, and support cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate team Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices
• Remove blockers and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy product backlog
• Track and report on delivery metrics, sprint progress, and team performance
• Work closely with developers, designers, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership skills
• Proficient in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, etc.

Advantage to:

• Scrum Master certification (e.g. CSM, PSM)
• Background in software development or technical projects
• Experience in banking, and/or insurance and/or fintech
