We are developing a cutting-edge, customer-facing ecological monitoring platform that integrates in-situ data, remote sensing, biophysical modeling, and AI. To ensure the scientific integrity and reliability of our outputs, we are seeking aScience QA Engineerto join our team.
We are hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team at The Landbanking Group to support the Landler platform – the world’s first wealth management platform for nature. The ideal candidate will have extensive QA experience with SaaS platforms, a strong background in dashboard and data visualization testing, and familiarity with nature-based or environmental data sets.
This role will be central to ensuring platform stability and delivering high-quality, verified releases across customer journeys. You’ll work closely with our product, data science, and engineering teams to design and execute comprehensive test plans across the full product lifecycle – from internal builds to customer-facing releases.
Test Planning & Strategy
Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for new features and platform updates
Design manual and automated tests to validate functional, visual, and data integrity across dashboards and reporting outputs
Quality Control for Nature-Based Data
Validate scientific and ecological data outputs for accuracy and consistency
Ensure all reports and visualizations meet compliance and scientific standards for environmental accounting
Customer Journey Testing
Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to test user flows end-to-end
Simulate real customer experiences across different use cases, land types, and reporting journeys
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with developers and data scientists to isolate and debug issues
Participate in release planning, sprint retrospectives, and QA checkpoints for customer deployments
Automation & Tools
Where appropriate, build automated test scripts for regression and functional testing
Maintain QA tooling infrastructure and test environments
Release Management
Coordinate with Product and Customer Success to validate all customer-facing releases
Ensure robust sign-off and documentation of testing outcomes prior to deployment
Minimum 5 years in QA roles for SaaS platforms, with a proven record of managing QA in production environments
Strong understanding of data dashboards, data visualization libraries, and reporting tools
Familiarity with ecological, agronomic, or nature-based data sets (e.g., biodiversity, soil, water, climate)
Proficiency with QA and testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or similar
Experience with SQL, APIs, and backend data validation
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with product, science, and engineering teams
Degree or demonstrable experience in a scientific, environmental, or ecological field is preferred
Experience in climate tech, ESG, or natural capital reporting platforms
Background in testing AI-driven recommendation systems or ML-based dashboards
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g., SEEA, TNFD, GRI)
