• Geotechnical Engineering
• Rural and Urban Infrastructure
• Structural Engineering
• Water Engineering
• Civil Engineering Design
• Society and Practice
• Engineering Mathematics
• Engineering Mechanics
• Earth Science

Key Performance Areas:

1. Preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars
2. Providing study guidance, learning support, consultation, and mentoring to students
3. Development of module materials, including online and web-based resources
4. Marking and grading assessments
5. Module coordination and quality assurance
6. Administrative functions related to the discipline and modules
7. Participation in committees, workshops, and task groups
8. Other duties as required

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in the relevant discipline(s)

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of lecturing experience in a similar higher education role at a tertiary institution

Working Conditions:

• This is an Independent Contractor role
• Part-time position; lectures scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00
• Must reside in Cape Town
